Upgrades now occur automatically from within Write Again!

Go to your Settings screen, and press the 'Check for Updates Now' button to upgrade.

An upgrade to version 1.2.1.0 is now available for users of Write Again! version 1.2.0.2.

This file will overwrite your current WriteAgain.exe file and add tables to incorporate Task tracking. None of your original data is overwritten.

What's New?

• Removed Flash content because its prettiness did not warrant all the Flash-related support emails I was receiving.
• Added Task Tracking and Management to the Project Manager and Deadlines Planner. The Deadlines Planner is now called 'Time Planner'. This is a HUGE addition to Write Again's functionality.
• Reorganised the Settings dialog, as it was running out of screen space.
• Added the AutoUpgrade feature - never visit this page again!

Just open the relevant file and follow the simple instructions. If you have not installed Write Again! to its default directory, you will have to tell the upgrade program where you wish to extract your files.

To minimise all risks, please make a backup copy of your /Writer Database/ subdirectory, in case something goes wrong.

This file will overwrite your current WriteAgain.exe file and replace the Uninstaller. None of your original data is overwritten.

• You can now set the delay after the Splash screen - want to go into Write Again immediately? Just set the Delay in the settings screen from 0 to 60 seconds.
• The registration codes will no longer have i's and I's and l's to confuse the registration process.
• Patched a bug that was bringing up error messages when linking files. If anyone finds this error after upgrading, or has strange things happen to them while linking files, contact us please.
• A rudimentary backup capability has been added, which will be expanded on in future versions. This backup process copies your database to an automatically named subdirectory of your Write Again! main directory.

This file will overwrite your current WriteAgain.exe file, and add four new database files to your existing database (These are used for Rights and Output Types configuration). None of your original data is overwritten. It will also update your Help and Tutorial files, and add an Uninstall program that will let you uninstall Write Again! from your system without having to go to Windows Add/Remove. An upgrade to version 1.1.0.2 is available for users of Write Again! versions 1.0.1.6 to 1.1.0.1.

This file will overwrite your current WriteAgain.exe file, and add three new database files to your existing database (These are used for Multiple File Linking). None of your original data is overwritten, but due to the nature of the new file linking system, you will no longer be able to access your previous linked files. This means you will have to relink your projects to their relevant document files. However, once you start using the new multiple file linking feature, you will be glad you abandoned your old one-to-one file relationships!

Just open the relevant file and follow the simple instructions. If you have not installed Write Again! to its default directory, you will have to tell the upgrade program where you wish to extract your files.
