Write Again 1.x has always worked on the Windows operating system.
However, some users experienced a nasty problem running Write Again 1.x
on Windows XP systems, which prevented them from running the program. Due
to the changing face of the IT industry and technological platforms, we've not
been able to support people stuck with this problem.
Slightly less annoying (but still a little annoying) is
Write Again 1.x on Windows Vista.
It runs fine, of course, but requires
the user to unpick a complex puzzle of right-clicks, 'run as Administrator' ticks, and assorted
menu selections.
That was then, and this is now. We're moving on from that.
Think of it as a bad
memory.
