Tom Dullemond
Tom is the original driving force behind Write Again, coding it together
over long nights almost a decade ago, back in the days when it was easier to get
things done because the internet wasn't as distracting as it is today.
He is also the last member of the team to own an Apple laptop, having recently purchased the 15" unibody MacBook Pro, as well as
sporting an iPhone which he loves very much. As Project Leader, he pretends that he didn't succumb to Apple products
because the rest of the team made him feel isolated and alone in a jungle of hip industrial design.
Originally from the Netherlands, Tom has lived in Australia for over 20 years and
resides in Brisbane, Queensland with his eclectic family and adorable children.
He has been involved in the IT industry since he graduated from University in 1998,
with degrees in Software Engineering and Medieval/Renaissance Studies.
Between day jobs, children, family and assuaging existing Write Again
users that the new version is almost done, Tom writes occasionally published Science
Fiction, Fantasy and Comedy short fiction.
With his real-world friends and colleagues around him to take advantage of the modern
world's constantly improving technologies, Tom's goal is to expand Write Again
to an industry standard submission management tool, and eventually dominate the
globe.
Once he achieves world domination, Tom expects to crush his enemies beneath an iron-shod
heel and levy increasingly inappropriate tithes, probably in the form of fine foods
and precious metals.
