Lucas Martin
Lucas is a man of many faces, most of them more attractive than anything the rest
of the team can muster. It's a little like 'Face' from the A-Team, except we don't
do any of the interesting things that the A-Team did.
Lucas likes data modelling and schemas. Some would call this a character flaw, but
in the Write Again team it means that when the final arduous task of
mapping the old data structures to the new comes up, Lucas will be the man for the
job. This is great because the rest of us would rather be doing something else,
to be frank.
His passion in life is music. Specifically, progressive rock. The rest of the team
doesn't mind so much, but Lucas does get a little bit fanatical about his love.
That's why they call it 'passion', we suppose.
As the second-last team member to buy a MacBook, Lucas is struggling to redefine
himself as a modern, fashion-IT conscious professional.
Once Lucas achieves world domination, creators of paint-by-numbers sell-and-forget
pop music will be forced to listen to 20 minute tracks by bands like 'Porcupine
Tree' and 'The Flower Kings', before being beaten with electric guitars.
